They accepted us! We now officially have our visas in hand and are good to go for our January departure - obviously their standards are low. My student visa is good until March 15, 2013. It allows me to study, and work up to 20 hours when school is in session and full time during breaks. Jon is allowed to work full time for the duration of the visa but can only start once my program commences.
Now...on to apply for Kona's permit which is going to be much more difficult than ours! Go figure.
